Andy Carroll
I know he has got his many deficiencies and failings but watching the game last night i kind of wished he was on the bench to come on and give us another option and shake things up a bit.

Andy Carroll in his second spell at Newcastle: 43 appearances, 1 goal.

He had his moments during his spell with us, but no longer a top level striker.

Re: Andy Carroll
He wouldn't have been a worthwhile option if he were still here. His last few games for us showed that this level passed him by, and he wasn't anywhere dedicated enough to have any longevity.

On his day, he was very useful, unfortunately, that day was few and far between, and usually after a long injury layoff.

Re: Andy Carroll
It would be nice to have a big strong C/F like Hartson or Carroll to hoof balls up to, however how long would they of lasted with that Referee.
I would imagine we would of been down to 9 men by half time

Some of our support, like the OP, are the same as battered spouses. They just can't let go of their abuser.
